Project Overview

The project objective was to transform certain collected customer information between different formats. For large amounts of telephone data a filter component was to be created to transform data according to a set of complex business rules defined by the customer.

Project Execution

The customer outsourced one technologically specific task to IBA experts. A small project team of business and .NET specialists created an application to fit the customer IT environment and business needs. The project lasted several months but the first functional prototype was available in a few weeks because the implementation was conducted in a form of multiple iterations of a development cycle.

The application logic was required to be written in C# according to the .NET standards, but since the warehouse system had only API for C-language, an additional wrapper was developed. All development tasks were performed using Microsoft Visual Studio.

Projects Results

In a very short time the customer obtained the required solution, which smoothly integrated into a complex deployment environment on the customer side. IBA was able to respond quickly and flexibly to the customer’s changing demands. The filter is now fully integrated into the customer’s system and has been running since 2004 with no reported problems.
